My Husband's Closet

While Tyler was on vacation for Christmas, we wanted to get his closet organized! He was at the time using two of our bedroom closets for his clothes one for his work clothes (our master bedroom closet) and one for his everyday clothes (our spare bedroom closet). I forgot to take a picture of the master bedroom closet before we started, but here are some pictures of everything we took out of it, and of the empty closet.

as you can see the closet had one hanging bar, one shelf, and a lot of wasted space!

And here is a picture of the spare bedroom closet that he also had filled with his clothes.

This is what we bought to fix the problem, and to fit all of his clothes in one closet!

This closet system is great because it fits closets from 3-6 ft without having to cut the shelves and hanging bars. And you can change the configuration to fit your needs without having to reinstall the whole system!

This project wore Max and Bailey out!

And here is the master bedroom closet with ALL of Tylers clothes, no more using two closets!

Our spare bedroom closet also got a new organizer!

My closet also got a new face lift, but I haven't taken new pictures of it yet! So that will have to wait for another post :) This project did not take long and it was soooo worth it! January has been my organizing month, I have been going through and getting rid of a lot of items that we do not need anymore, and reorganizing our storage areas. It is crazy how much you can accumulate in a year!

Damask Invites {part 2}

I have been playing around with some sample invites and I decided to make a few more Damask print invite styles (since I love damask). These invites can be made in any color!

Elegant Earthy Invites {re-post}

The original post for these invites didn't really do them justice! The pictures were from me scanning the invites onto my computer, and because they are ivory, they just don't look very well. So I decided to take some picture with my new camera and re-post them because I love them so much! Enjoy!

for some reason this one keeps uploading sideways? it is normal on my computer, but wont upload right? SO here it is sideways lol

Christmas Baskets

My moms company was looking for affordable holiday gift baskets for their clients. She contacted me to see if I could come up with a few options at $10, $20, and $40. It started out being just for my moms clients and a few other of her coworkers clients. But after seeing them her coworkers really liked them and just kept ordering! I was very excited. I ended up with a total of 130 gift boxes ordered in three different price points! I decided to go with boxes and baskets filled with candy from Albanese Candy Factory. I ordered the candy in bulk and had 152+ pounds of candy, which I separated into LOTS of little treat bags! Each $10 box had 4 bags of candy and each $20 box had 5 larger bags of candy. Here are the different gift baskets I made.

Some of the goods!

$10 boxes: They each have caramel corn, Christmas gummies, chocolate covered pretzels, and yogurt covered pretzel trees in them

$20 boxes! They contained caramel corn, Christmas gummies, chocolate covered pretzel balls, yogurt covered pretzel trees, and chocolate covered almonds.

$40 Baskets. These contained The same candy as the other boxes plus Gourmet chocolate covered pretzel rods, and dark chocolate pralines.
Here are all of the boxes and baskets loaded up and ready to be delivered!
Here are a few $10 baskets I made for some other Christmas presents. These are made in a smalled version snowman hat then the $40 baskets, and they contain hot cocoa and pralines.
This project was A LOT of work, but it was a lot of fun too! I made all of these boxes and baskets in 5 days, sorting the candy and all! Thankfully my mom and Aunt Wanda came down for the weekend and were able to help me tie bows and assemble boxes!

Fallen for you Invites

I was recently contacted by my first client that I had never met prior to her calling me! I am super excited because that means the word is getting out there about Jdesigns and I couldnt be more thrilled! Erins wedding is in the fall, and their colors are latte, brown, and burnt orange. So using this information I came up with a few samples for Erin! Enjoy!
